23RD PSALM
23 The Lord is my shepherd; I shall not want.
2 He maketh me to lie down in green pastures: he leadeth me beside the still waters.
3 He restoreth my soul: he leadeth me in the paths of righteousness for his name's sake.
4 Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil: for thou art with me; thy rod and thy staff they comfort me.
5 Thou preparest a table before me in the presence of mine enemies: thou anointest my head with oil; my cup runneth over.
6 Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life: and I will dwell in the house of the Lord for ever.
THE LORD'S PRAYER
Our Father, Who art in heaven,
Hallowed be Thy Name.
Thy Kingdom come.
Thy Will be done,
on earth as it is in Heaven.
Give us this day our daily bread.
And forgive us our trespasses,
as we forgive those who trespass against us.
And lead us not into temptation,
but deliver us from evil.
for thine is the kingdom and the power and the glory, forever.
Amen.
SERENITY PRAYER
God grant me the serenity to accept the things I cannot change, Courage to change the things I can, and Wisdom to know the difference.
Living one day at a time,
Enjoying one moment at a time,
Accepting hardship as a pathway to peace,
Taking, as He did,
This sinful world as it is,
Not as I would have it,
Trusting that He will make all things right,
If I surrender to His will,
That I may be reasonably happy in this life,
And supremely happy with Him forever in the next.

I PROMISE MYSELF!
#1~ To be so strong that nothing can disturb MY peace of mind.
#2~ To talk health, happiness, and prosperity to every person I meet.

#4~ To look at the sunny side of everything and make MY optimism come true.

#9~ To give so much time to the improvement of MYSELF that I have no time to criticize others.
#10~ To be too large for worry, too noble for anger, too strong for fear, and too happy to permit the presence of trouble.
